Elements of an Active Shooter
This a one-day program is designed for all sworn and military investigators and analysts, BTAM’s, Risk & Safety personnel working in businesses and organizations, houses of worship, and K-12 and IHE faculty, staff, and administrators.
This agenda includes topics of an active shooter incident and provides general session, classroom-style presentations from certified Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) including, the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Pittsburgh Police (ret.).

- The Pathway to Violence and pre-Behavior Indicators of Violent Offenders
- Responding to a Mass Casualty Incident
- The Tree of Life case study
- Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) Trends
- Post-incident resources through Victim Assistance programs
The $55 registration Includes admission, breakfast, hot lunch, snacks, and student aids.
