A Day on the INLETS: Eastern Shore
Elements of an Active Shooter
This a one-day program is designed for all sworn and military investigators and analysts, BTAM’s, Risk & Safety personnel working in businesses and organizations, houses of worship, and K-12 and IHE faculty, staff, and administrators.
This agenda includes topics of an active shooter incident and provides general session, classroom-style presentations from certified Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) including, the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Pittsburgh Police (ret.).
AGENDA TOPICS:
The agenda begins with discussion on the pre-event indicators of violent offenders and moves to the expectations for what occurs during a mass casualty incident. A case study demonstrates those realities during incidents and the impact afterwards on communities. Presentations on recent trends using explosive devices and available resources to support those impacted after the incidents complete the agenda.
Continental breakfast, lunch provided by Mission BBQ, with snacks during breaks will help keep the schedule on track.
