A Day on the INLETS:

Partnering with the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC- the State fusion center) and the Maryland Center for School Safety, INLETS invites you to a full day agenda focused on Targeted Violence, Hate, and Extremism in Annapolis, MD

On March 5, Subject Matter Experts share their experience from the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and Behavioral Analysis Unit, New Scotland Yard, and Pittsburgh Police.

Campuses across the country, both high school and college, have had dramatic increases in targeted violence and hate crime reporting.

Anti-semitic protests and incidents are occurring worldwide and challenging law enforcement, community leaders, and Risk & Safety practitioners in new ways.

Terrorist extremist groups from remote places in the world are inciting unaffiliated groups and mis-informed individuals, radicalizing them into calls for action.

Continental breakfast and lunch are included in the in-person registration.

Topics:

  • Overview of Hate, Extremism and Campus Violence with Alex Cardella, Senior Intelligence Analyst, Maryland Coordination & Analysis Center
  • The Changing Face of Hate with Tom O’Connor, FBI JTTF (ret.)
