The Violent Crimes & Terrorism Trends course is the foundation of the annual INLETS schedule. It provides an agenda focused on identifying and investigating extremism, radicalization, hate, and violent crimes.
The topics are presented through case studies, multi-session workshops, and breakouts.
This course is designed for local, state, federal, and military/Intel investigators and analysts and risk and safety practitioners.

Keynote Presenter Paul Mauro is currently a Fox News Contributor, appearing frequently on all the network’s platforms.
Before joining Fox Mauro served 26 years with the NYPD, where he led as the Commanding Officer of the New York City Police Department’s Legal Bureau, the Executive Officer of the NYPD’s Intelligence Operations and Analysis Bureau, and also on a federal task force, managing the Department’s counterterrorism operations.
Mauro was also deployed to Ground Zero in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers.
Featured Presenter Todd Pettengill is a multi-award-winning radio and television talent with a career spanning more than four decades including co-hosting the iconic WPLJ morning show “Scott and Todd”, in New York City.
Throughout his career, Todd has been known for his comedic timing and ability to connect with his audiences.
That connection was never more realized than on 9/11 when he broadcasted from Madison Square Garden the events unfolding at the World Trade Center.
Special Guest Dave Bray USA provides a special musical performance during the Tribute to Heroes evening program.
As a United States Navy Veteran and National Recording Artist, Dave considers his music to be a “Continuation of Service” and has dedicated much of his career to honoring our Veterans, Active Duty Military, Fire, Police and First Responders.
He served as an FMF Corpsman for the USMC Sniper Teams and following his service went on to a musical career performing on Fox and Friends, ESPN, The Blaze, The Golf Channel, and local television and radio stations across the USA.

Tuesday: 5:00pm-7:00pm. Enjoy the sunset views of the harbor in downtown Historic Annapolis. Network with other attendees over dinner while unwinding from the educational agenda. After, walk the waterfront historic town.

Wednesday Afternoon’s Enrichment Visit
Fort McHenry National Monument
Wednesday: In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, we will visit Ft. McHenry, Baltimore’s Star Fort, where in 1814 a fledgling America repelled the British for the first time, inspiring Francis Scott Key to pen what would become our National Anthem. Guests traveling with attendees are invited, free of charge.
