Fort McHenry National Park & Historic Shrine Tour
We will be visiting the birthplace of our National Anthem. A one hour visit will include a discussion of the historic flag that flew over the fort during the Battle of Baltimore and a cannon demonstration. Attendees will have additional time in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor for dinner and sightseeing.

Since 2014 and our trip to the Holocaust Museum, INLETS has offered an enrichment activity to a local historical or educational site. We are still working out the details for 2016, which will be posted shortly.

In 2015, we took a group of attendees to the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. There they learned about the Battle of Baltimore in 1814. Attendees got the opportunity to practice the steps in loading and firing the cannons that defending the city from British invasion.
