The Human Trafficking Unit of the Fairfax County PD was started in late 2013 and has prosecuted nearly 50 defendants. Facebook, shopping malls, and public transportation hubs are popular places for gang members and pimps to recruit young girls into prostitution.
Det. Woolf and Special Agent Jeff Johannes (FBI) will be joining us for our Annual Conference to talk about their work together in combating these crimes. To view our full agenda for the week, click here.
